ECTA European Chemical Transport Association

The European Chemical Transport Association (ECTA) brings together European transport companies with the goal of improving efficiency, safety, and quality in the chemical transport sector. ECTA represents the entire chemical transport industry and collaborates with specialized logistics service providers to develop tools and initiatives aimed at advancing the industry. Through its collaboration with ECTA, GADOT is able to engage in an intensive exchange of expertise and help shape common standards for chemical logistics in Europe.

Association of the Chemical Trade (VCH)

Since 1903, the Verband Chemiehandel e.V. (VCH) has represented the professional and economic interests of the German chemical wholesale and foreign trade sectors. As a service and information center, it supports its members by providing specialized information, industry statistics, seminars, and training, as well as through extensive networking. The partnership with the VCH strengthens GADOT’s access to trade networks and promotes practical dialogue on market trends, trade issues, and legal frameworks.

DSLV – Bundesverband Spedition und Logistik e.V.

The DSLV Federal Association of Freight Forwarding and Logistics is the political voice of the German freight forwarding and logistics industry. With approximately 600,000 employees and annual revenue of 123 billion euros, logistics is one of Germany’s most important economic sectors. The association represents the industry in dealings with policymakers, government agencies, and institutions, and is committed to advancing freight transport, logistics, and regulatory frameworks both nationally and internationally. Collaboration with the DSLV helps GADOT influence forward-looking regulatory and infrastructure issues.

Frankfurt Port Residents' Association (GFH)

The Association of Frankfurt Port Tenants (GFH) represents the interests of more than 30 companies with locations in the ports of Frankfurt. The GFH’s goal is to create reliable framework conditions and to strengthen the port as a major economic hub. Through this partnership, GADOT benefits from close collaboration with regional stakeholders and contributes to the sustainable development of port infrastructure in the Rhine-Main region.

Speditions- und Logistikverband Hessen/Rheinland-Pfalz e.V. (SLV)

The SLV Hessen/Rhineland-Palatinate represents approximately 400 freight forwarding and logistics companies with about 40,000 employees. It serves as the point of contact for policymakers and the media on all issues related to the movement of goods by road, rail, sea, inland waterways, and air freight. The partnership with the SLV supports GADOT in its dialogue with the regional business community and political decision-makers, as well as in promoting local logistics expertise.

North Rhine-Westphalia Freight Forwarding and Logistics Association (VSL NRW)

As the industry representative for freight forwarding and logistics companies in North Rhine-Westphalia, VSL NRW promotes dialogue with policymakers and government agencies, provides expert information, seminars, and consulting on transportation and economic policy issues, and offers support on matters related to labor and transportation law. The partnership strengthens local networks and enables GADOT to establish a targeted regional presence.

Baden-Württemberg Freight Forwarding and Logistics Association (VSL BW)

The VSL Baden-Württemberg advocates for the interests of the freight forwarding and logistics industry in southwestern Germany. It supports its members on issues related to transportation, economic, and legal policy; offers specialized consulting; and promotes training, continuing education, and the development of the next generation of skilled professionals. Through this partnership, GADOT can strengthen the network of its activities in Baden-Württemberg and further develop them in a way that is specific to the industry.

German-Eurasian Economic Association (DEWIB)

As an independent, cross-sector interest group, the German-Eurasian Economic Association (GADOT) promotes economic relations between Germany and the countries of Eurasia. A particular focus is on supporting small and medium-sized enterprises in trade and investment projects, especially in Central Asia, Mongolia, and Turkey. This collaboration opens up valuable opportunities for GADOT in cross-border projects and partnerships in dynamic markets.

ChemCologne e.V. – Network of the Chemical Industry in the Rhineland

ChemCologne e.V. is a cross-industry network dedicated to strengthening the Rhineland’s chemical sector, which has been promoting the attractiveness and competitiveness of this major industrial region since 1999. The association connects companies, public institutions, research organizations, and universities into a multifaceted network for exchange, cooperation, and location marketing. ChemCologne supports networking around industry-relevant topics such as infrastructure, logistics, innovation, and sustainability, thereby also strengthening GADOT’s position within the regional chemical ecosystem.
